in the new Plaza Vista del Lago. Celebrating the Grand Opening
of her shop with an Old Hollywood Premiere-style Gala in January
2005, proprietor Laura Newhall-Allen’s unique, 1544 sq.ft. establishment
specializes in carrying newly-created, affordable fashions inspired
by the clean lines and distinctive styling of the 30’s, 40’s,
50’s and 60’s. |
“Golden Age of Hollywood” ambiance replete
with antique vanity table and rich maple, handcrafted furnishings
circa the ‘30s-‘40s. Photos of Silver Screen legends Humphrey
Bogart, Jean Harlow and other old-time stars line the walls.
Men are invited to relax in “Bogie’s Lounge” a masculinely appointed
area with leather sofas and chairs. Here, they can sample men’s
fragrances of the ‘40s at the El Morocco style bar, relax with
a magazine or work on their lap top while waiting for female
companions to finish shopping. |
As part of its ongoing commitment to the better-ment
of the Orange County community, Vintage Inspired periodically is involved
in contributing clothing and resources to worthy Fashion Show fund-raising
events benefiting OC-based charitable organizations. The store also
puts on various in-store, for-profit fashion shows and special promotions
throughout the year, many themed to holidays and other special occasions.
